The Football Parent Game
To finish off a great term of football training the kids from the extracurricular football squad got to play a real game against their parents. The game started at 4 pm on Tuesday the 10th of December. The kids were very excited and eager to play and win their first game as ONE IS Football Squad. After the first half the parents were leading with the score at 3-1, and the kids couldn’t wait for the second half to start. The kids worked really hard throughout the game and they worked very well as a team all over the field. When the referee blew the whistle the kids were happy as they won the game with the final score coming in at 5-3.
Thank you to all the parents who participated and the parents who came to support their kids. It was a great afternoon with lots of smiles and happy faces on both the players and the watching crowd. The kids have done an amazing job and have all developed well, considerably improving in all the football skills they have learnt during this term. Coach Felicia is looking forward to seeing you all back again next week!
