Stargazers in full costume!
Before this half term break, the Stargazers wanted to show what they have been doing for the past few weeks…
Firstly in PBL, the children have presented a short video about their chosen festivals and of course wearing their colourful costumes too. The children have done this using the technology and with the help of the green screen app. They have been watching and dancing a known Philippine dance ‘Tinikling’.
In Literacy, the children were focused on writing their own fiction stories which they have completed with great effort. Not just that but they have also included descriptive words to make their stories enticing to read with illustrations. They have presented this by reading in front of friends and answering the questions connected to the story.
Lastly, in Maths, the Stargazers have been working on multiplication and division – answering the problems using arrays which they are now confident about doing!
