Project Based Learning (PBL) Sessions
The Flying Foxes, Stargazers and Eagle rays have been busy at it the past few weeks during their PBL sessions!
It all started with a fantastic session about team building, where the children had to overcome both physical and mental obstacles to conquer some pretty tough tasks! This was a great effort from all children and it provided them with a solid base of how they could work together as a team over the following weeks.
This included learning about how we can up-cycle our old t-shirts into new tote bags, where our shopping and other objects could be placed! We all loved the result of our personalized bags so much, we’ve put on a fashion show for you.
In the recent PBL sessions, we have been learning all about the South Pacific islands and how important the sea is for human survival. This enabled the children to understand why we are trying to protect our wonderful oceans. As you can see from our photos, we have learnt a lot about these remote islands and we are very proud to say we are advocates of protecting them!
As ever kids, we are enjoying learning about our world as much as you are! What a fantastic summer term we are having!
