A few exciting weeks for the Flying Foxes
In between our hardworking schedule we have been enjoying Halloween festivities and getting to grips with increasing our computer knowledge. That’s right, computer work has been heavily introduced this half term to ensure our research work is top notch!
The Flying Foxes have been using the laptops to increase their knowledge about Global Warming and even to speed up their multiplication recitals. We have even been reading an E-Book in literacy to increase our ideas about character descriptions and setting descriptions. The rich vocabulary used has up leveled our language to no end! Don’t worry though, we’ve managed to get ourselves out into the fresh air too, with school trips to the Mangrove sanctuary and The Philippine Marine Conservation!
Recently our science lessons have been a blast! Combining geography with scientific research to take our learning to a new level of discovery. Who knew sound could be seen and who realized the dangers of tsunamis and earthquakes?
As ever we are enjoying our art lessons, using our recycled materials from home and keeping our eco-friendly mission alive!
Try and stop the Flying Foxes this half term… they are on a roll!
